엠비메탈㈜은 1994년 2월 1일 설립된 이래로 여러 종류의 철강원자재를 한국시장에 수출하려는 해외업체와 그를 수입하려는 국내 업체와의 계약을 중개하는 수입 무역 중개 대리점으로서 활동하고 있습니다.
그를 위해 당사는 계약 성립 및 사후 관리에 관련된 모든 서비스 업무를 제반하며, 시황정보 제공과 판촉활동 및 시장조사 등도 업무에 포함됩니다. 추가적으로 수출 중개와 제3국 무역 또한 가능합니다.
현재까지 해외 공급사와 국내 구매사들과의 우호적이고 지속적인 관계를 유지하고 있으며, 많은 계약을 성립하는 성과를 거두고 있습니다.
당사의 궁극적인 목표는 공급사 및 수입사 모두가 만족할 수 있는 거래를 지속해 나가는 것입니다.
Since its establishment on February 1, 1994, M.B. Metals Co., Ltd. has been acting as an importing agent to make deals between suppliers who want to export various types of steel raw materials to the Korean market and domestic companies who want to import them.
To that end, the company is responsible for all services related to contract establishment and follow-up management, and includes providing market information, promotional activities and market research. In addition, exporting agency and third-country trading are also possible.
Until now, we have maintained friendly and continuous relationships with overseas suppliers and domestic buyers, and have achieved many contracts.
Our ultimate goal is to continue transactions that will satisfy both suppliers and importers.

1977년 포스코(POSCO)에 입사하여 20년 가까이 근무하며 POSCO의 스테인리스 신사업 초기 단계부터 참여하였습니다. 원료 수입 과장으로 재직할 당시 26개국을 직접 방문하여 전 세계 철강 원자재 시장을 탐색·발굴하였고, HCFeCr, Cokes, Pig Iron, Mn-Alloy 등 다양한 원자재 분야에서 중개 성과를 거두었습니다. 1994년 엠비트레이딩을 설립하였고, 2009년부터 회장을 맡고 있습니다.
He joined POSCO in 1977 and worked there for nearly 20 years, taking part in POSCO's new stainless steel business from its early stages. As Manager of raw material imports he visited 26 countries in person to explore and develop the global steel raw material market, with results across HCFeCr, Cokes, Pig Iron and Mn-Alloy. He founded M.B. Trading in 1994 and has served as Chairman since 2009.
2002년 한국외국어대학교를 졸업하고 2006년 연세대학교 일반대학원 경영학과를 졸업하며 마케팅 채널과 유통 구조에 관한 논문을 작성하였습니다. 2003년부터 창업자인 김문배 회장의 곁에서 실무를 경험하였고, 2008년 글로벌 금융위기 당시에는 공급자와 수입자 간 조율을 통해 문제에 대응하였습니다. 2009년 대표이사로 취임한 이후 무역 중개 및 신규 거래처 발굴에 힘쓰고 있습니다.
He graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in 2002 and from the Graduate School of Yonsei University (Business Administration) in 2006, writing a thesis on marketing channels and distribution structure. He has worked alongside the founder, Chairman Moon-bae Kim, since 2003, and during the 2008 Global Financial Crisis resolved major issues through coordination between suppliers and importers. Since becoming CEO in 2009 he has focused on trade brokerage and developing new clients.
